Drinking Water
We offer three basic testing packages for drinking water:

Bacteriology test for total coliforms and E. coli
Total coliform bacteria are found in the intestines of warm-blooded animals; their presence acts as a possible indicator of fecal contamination. However, because total coliforms can also be found in the natural environment their presence in water does not prove contamination. E. coli is a fecal coliform and does not survive well outside the body; this means that the presence of E. coli in drinking water indicates recent contamination and is a major concern. Coliform organisms can be present without affecting the taste or appearance of your water, making a laboratory analysis the best way to test for contamination.

Metals scan
Metals are naturally occurring in the environment. Your water can come in contact with any number of metals between the initial water source and your tap. Depending on their concentration certain metals can cause health or dietary concerns, result in an unappealing odour or taste, or affect your plumbing and fixtures. Please see the parameters listing link below for a complete list of the metals inculded in the scan.
